13-Day Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech

Welcome to Casablanca! Upon your arrival at the airport, our driver will greet you and take you to the Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque in Africa open to non-Muslims; it can accommodate up to 100,000 worshippers. You will then discover the Casablanca medina before heading to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast at your accommodation, depart for Marrakech while admiring the magnificent landscapes along the way. Upon arrival in Marrakech, begin your guided tour of the Red City with your local guide. You will start with the famous Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace. Continue your day excursion with a visit to the Majorelle Gardens, a must-see location full of wonders to discover.

Next, visit the Badi Palace and the tanneries, where leather is processed into clothes, bags, shoes, etc. Then, head to the Menara, a very popular tourist site and favorite spot for many visitors. Afterward, explore the Koutoubia Mosque, the second largest in Morocco, and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can watch entertainment (snake charmers, musicians, storytellers, dancers, etc.). Finally, stroll through the souks and discover the historic sites of the ancient medina of Marrakech before returning to your accommodation for the night.

In the morning, a shuttle will pick you up at your accommodation in Marrakech to start your tour with an unforgettable journey from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges, crossing the High Atlas Mountains. You will cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m) and discover magnificent villages perched on the mountainsides.

You will then continue your route towards Ouarzazate, nicknamed the "Hollywood of Africa," crossing the unforgiving stone desert to visit the Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site where many films have been shot, such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and The Mummy. You will then visit Taourirt and its famous film studios. After lunch, enjoy a trip through the Dades Valley along the famous "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," passing through the charming town of Skoura. Continue towards Kelaat M'Gouna, famous for its Rose Festival, before reaching the Dades Gorges, where you will take the famous "Monkey Fingers" road. Overnight at your accommodation in the Dades Valley.

Early departure for a drive with ever-changing landscapes towards the dunes of Merzouga. After crossing the Tinghir oasis, you will drive alongside palm groves towards the Todra Gorges. In this exceptional place, limestone cliffs seem to form a breach between the majestic mountains of the Todra massif before diving into the flat riverbed.

The peaks rise to 320 m above the Todra Gorges, which wind from their source in the High Atlas. Enjoy a moment of relaxation strolling through the gorges and palm groves. After a hearty lunch, continue your route towards Tinjdad and Erfoud, also lined with palm groves. Your tour of Morocco will then continue towards our enchanting destination: the Merzouga desert, where you will experience a camel ride through the golden, rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Stop to admire a splendid sunset over the vast golden sand dunes that undulate like moving sculptures or draperies. Observe how the colors shift with the light and how the dunes act like living walls of sand, the highest reaching 150 meters. Spend a magical night under the stars in nomad tents after a delicious dinner and a musical feast (Berber drums) with the locals. In the early morning, wake up early to admire a breathtaking sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. You will then ride camels back to the edge of the dunes where you will meet your driver to continue your excursion. Visit the villages of Merzouga, including Hassi Labied, Tanamoust, and Khamlia, where you can listen to African music. Then continue towards the nomads located behind the dunes, discover their way of life, and taste Berber pizza. Continue your exploration in the M'ifis desert, where you will discover different types of mines, then join Hassi Labied to visit the oasis before returning to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast at your riad in Merzouga, we continue your 13-day desert tour to Midelt, passing through Erfoud, the capital of dates and famous for its fossils. Visit a museum before reaching Errachidia. Stop to admire an exceptional panorama over the village of Aoufous. Continue to Errachidia for lunch. Then, drive towards Midelt via the Tizi n'Talghamt pass. Arrival in Midelt, nicknamed the "Apple Capital," and transfer to your accommodation for the night.

In the morning, we hit the road for Fes, with stops along the way. We will stop in Zaida for a barbecue and a refreshing break with mint tea, before continuing to Azrou, a Berber village in the Middle Atlas. There, we will observe the Barbary macaques in the Azrou cedar forest, the largest in Morocco. We will then reach Ifrane, nicknamed the French village or the "Little Switzerland of Morocco." We will stop to admire the magnificent panoramas of the Atlas Mountains, then continue to Fes. Upon arrival in Fes, you will be driven to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast, meet your private guide for a full day of immersion in Fes, the first imperial city of Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Founded in the 9th century, Fes is home to the oldest university in the world and a rich cultural heritage. Your visit will begin with the majestic gate of the Royal Palace, the entrance to the largest palace in Morocco.

Next, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the medina from the South Tower of Fes before heading to a pottery cooperative, where you will watch artisans making traditional tiles and Moroccan mosaics. Continue your visit with the famous tanneries, where locals use the skins of animals such as goats, sheep, and camels to make clothes, bags, shoes, and other authentic products.

Then explore the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Attarine Madrasa (Quranic school). Admire the beautifully decorated Nejjarine Fountain and visit the sacred Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss as well as the historic Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque-University. For lunch, savor delicious Moroccan cuisine in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. Afterward, explore the lively alleys where merchants and artisans offer a wide variety of products, from dates and spices to fresh fish and carpets. Visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the founder of the city. In the late afternoon, we will take you to your accommodation for the night.

In the morning, depart from Fes to Meknes with a stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the sacred village of Moulay Idriss I. After lunch, depart for Meknes, founded in the late 17th century by Moulay Ismail and nicknamed the "Moroccan Versailles." Visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the Bab Mansour gate.

Drive towards Chefchaouen, the "Blue City," admiring the beautiful landscapes along the way. Stop to capture the stunning panoramas of the Rif Mountains. Pass through Ouazzane, a small town nestled in the Rif. Arrival in Chefchaouen, also called the "Blue Pearl of Morocco." Guided tour of the blue streets and some local craft cooperatives. Lunch, then an excursion to the Akchour waterfalls. In the late afternoon, transfer to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouen, depart for Tangier. Admire the breathtaking landscapes along the road, crossing the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival in Tangier, visit some must-see historical sites, such as the Caves of Hercules and Cap Spartel, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Continue your discovery with the medina, the old city of Tangier, and stroll through its lively alleys lined with stalls of spices, artisanal carpets, textiles, etc. You will then be driven to your accommodation for the night.

After breakfast at your accommodation in Tangier, depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Admire the beautiful landscapes of the Atlantic Ocean. Upon arrival in Rabat, visit the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Next, explore the Chellah district and stroll through the lively souks of Rabat, where you will immerse yourself in local life. Then enjoy a walk on the beautiful beaches of Rabat before your transfer to your accommodation for the night.

In the morning, we will pick you up at your accommodation in Rabat, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, heading towards Casablanca, the largest city in Morocco. Upon arrival in Casablanca, you will discover the Arab League Park, the Ain Diab Corniche, and the Morocco Mall, the largest shopping center in Africa, before taking you to your accommodation for the night.

Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will take you to the airport in Casablanca or Marrakech.
